Supply Chain Coordinator – Royal United Hospitals Bath

Provide supply chain services to clinicians, ensuring continuous availability of goods and compliance with the Trust’s Inventory Management system.
Job Overview
The role is a full‑time position (37.5 hours per week, Mon–Fri 08:00–16:00) based at the Royal United Hospital, Bath.
Main Duties
* Maintain an uninterrupted supply of goods to clinical teams.
* Conduct regular inventory checks using the Trust’s electronic system.
* Investigate discrepancies, perform problem‑solving and coordinate with suppliers.
* Communicate updates and information to stakeholders promptly.
* Handle picking, packing, sorting and distribution of items – a physically demanding role.
Qualifications
* Maths and English GCSE at grade C or above or equivalent.
Experience
* Experience working in a multi‑functional business environment.
* Experience in purchasing and supply functions within a public sector or similar setting.
* Knowledge of procurement systems (electronic and paper‑based).
Additional Requirements
* Current right to work in the UK, subject to verification.
