What you will be doing:
With experience from the NHS or private care, you will lead the nursing team to provide high-quality care and support to young people within a Mental Health setting, while supporting colleagues and promoting teamwork.
As a Ward Manager, you will empower recovery, deliver supervision to staff, and work alongside the senior Nurse to manage the on-call service and ward budgets. You will lead by example, acting as a role model, leading care teams, and creating a positive learning environment that makes a difference.
Other duties include:
* Providing Clinical Leadership and expertise
* Supporting a unified service and engaged workforce
* Ensuring high standards within the Clinical Governance framework
* Supervising nursing staff effectively
* Being an expert resource on Nursing care within the specialism
* Maintaining a positive environment for staff development and welfare
* Taking charge of the ward as designated
What you will have:
* A relevant nursing qualification
* NMC registration
* A positive attitude, caring, and compassionate nature
* A commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care
* Relevant experience in a similar environment
* Proven leadership skills

Emerald Place Clinic is a general adolescent inpatient unit for young people aged 13 to 18 with various mental health conditions and complex needs, including mood disorders, psychosis, neurodevelopmental disorders, and disordered eating.
