Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Health Care Support Worker to join our Neurosurgical team at Ward 64. The role requires a commitment to patient‑centred care, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively within a surgical ward environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide holistic support to patients and families within a neurosurgical setting.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate patient recovery and safety.
* Assist with day‑to‑day patient care, including mobilisation, basic nursing tasks, and documentation.
* Participate in service progression, learning, and development opportunities.
* Maintain PVG scheme membership and Disclosure Scotland check prior to start date.
Qualifications
* Previous healthcare experience within a surgical ward is essential.
* Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
* Commitment to patient‑centred care and understanding of the specific needs of neurosurgical patients.
