Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an ambitious Associate or Senior Associate - Rating to join our expanding National Rating team in Birmingham.
Responsibilities
* Lead strategies to minimise business rates liabilities across complex portfolios
* Take primary responsibility for key client accounts
* Manage empty rates mitigation and relief applications
* Undertake and review property inspections and valuation measurements
* Analyse assessments and evidence to determine appeal strategy
* Prepare and manage submissions through the Check, Challenge, Appeal (CCA) process
* Deliver commercially focused advice through high-quality reports and presentations
* Contribute to fee growth, forecasting and business development
* Mentor and develop junior surveyors
Qualifications
* MRICS qualified with strong rating experience
* Proven track record managing client portfolios independently
* Strong technical knowledge of the CCA system
* Commercially aware with appetite for fee growth
* Confident communicator and negotiator
* Experience using Riverlake, Analyse, RatesData, Calcurate (or similar)
* Leadership or mentoring experience desirable

Birmingham is a key growth hub within that national platform, and we are investing in experienced surveyors who want to play a meaningful role in that trajectory. This is a senior delivery role with clear progression into leadership.
