Due to maternity leave, an opportunity has arisen to come and work within the Integrated Community Rehabilitation team in Bridport. The team administrator is often a patient's first point of contact with the service. As a result, we are looking for the successful candidate to be friendly, professional, and able to work under pressure. Previous experience of SystmOne is beneficial but not essential.


This post is 37.5 hours per week. The post holder may be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.


Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.


This is a fixed-term role and for those with current NHS service, the role will be offered on a secondment basis only. Please obtain permission to be released on a secondment before submitting an application.


Applications from candidates that require current Skilled Worker sponsorship to work in the UK are unfortunately ineligible to apply for this position.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. To assist the team by providing clinical and administrative support services.
2. To ensure the provision of effective and efficient administrative support including dealing with telephone enquiries, relatives, carers, GPs, Social Workers, and other agencies.
3. Maintaining good communications between staff members of the Trust and outside representatives using own initiative and managing own workload.
