As an Accounts & Audit Manager, you will play a key role in the management and delivery of services to a varied portfolio of clients. Key Responsibilities
* Leading and managing assignments from planning to completion for a portfolio of clients.
* Overseeing and reviewing the work of junior staff, providing guidance and support.
* Managing relationships with clients and maintaining regular communication to ensure the timely delivery of services.
* Preparing financial statements in compliance with UK GAAP or IFRS, and other applicable standards.
* Reviewing the work of junior staff and assisting in their development.
* Assisting with the preparation of tax computations and assisting with other areas of tax compliance.
* Ensuring that deadlines are met and that work is carried out efficiently and to a high standard.
* Maintaining and managing client records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Skills and Experience
* ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with a strong understanding of audit and accounting procedures.
* Experience in managing accounts preparation within an accountancy practice. - Audit desirable but not essential
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
* Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and taxation.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
* Ability to manage a team and mentor junior staff.
