Overview
Graduate Electrical Engineer – @one Alliance (Binnies UK, part of the RSK Group) are recruiting to work on the @One Alliance for Anglian Water. The alliance is a collaboration between Anglian Water, Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Binnies, MMB, MWH Treatment, Skanska, and SWECO to deliver a large portion of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme.
Location: Peterborough, England, United Kingdom.
About the Role
As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will join our water industry team to help deliver electrical systems for treatment plants, pumping stations, control systems, and smart water networks. This role offers responsibility, diverse challenges, and long-term career development in a vital sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the design and delivery of electrical systems including power distribution, automation, and instrumentation
* Assist with the specification and selection of electrical equipment
* Work closely with civil, mechanical, and process engineering teams
* Carry out site surveys, commissioning, and technical inspections
* Support with documentation, reports, and health & safety compliance
* Engage with contractors, clients (e.g. Anglian Water), and supply chain partners throughout project lifecycles
What We’re Looking For
* A degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (BEng or MEng)
* An interest in sustainability, utilities, and infrastructure
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
* Enthusiasm to work in both office and site environments
* Full UK Driving licence (or working towards it)
