Tug Driver Immediate Start Available
Location: Immingham, Lincolnshire
Shifts: 12-hour shifts (Days, Nights & Weekends)
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Tug Driver to join a busy and growing port and logistics operation in Immingham. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for hands-on work, long-term stability, and career progression within the logistics, transport, and distribution sector.
As a Tug Driver / Yard Operative / Shunter Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient movement of trailers and units across the site.
Key Responsibilities
Safely manoeuvre and transport trailers using a tug unit within a busy yard environment
Support loading and unloading operations where required
Work collaboratively with yard teams, supervisors, and logistics staff
Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report defects promptly
Ensure all activities comply with health & safety regulations and site procedures
Maintain efficiency in a fast-paced port and distribution environment
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience as a Tug Driver, HGV Driver, Shunter Driver, or Yard Operative (preferred but not essential - training provided)
Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
Strong awareness of health & safety in a logistics or industrial setting
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and within a team
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically active role
Flexible to work 12-hour shifts including days, nights, and weekends
