Primary Care Regional Manager (Midlands Area)
Senior primary care leadership role with the Pharmacist Network, a fast‑growing pharmacist‑led primary care organisation.
Job Summary
Provide operational and clinical oversight across a defined region, manage performance, workforce, compliance, and NHS stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities
* Manage day‑to‑day regional operations across 20–30 primary care contracts
* Line‑manage Senior and Lead Pharmacists, providing coaching and clinical oversight
* Monitor KPIs, contract performance, and workforce metrics, stepping in proactively when needed
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with GP practices, PCNs, and ICBs
* Lead workforce planning, recruitment, and staff development across the region
* Ensure CQC and NHS governance compliance across all services
* Identify opportunities for service growth and commercial development
* Report regional performance to the Managing Director and senior leadership team
Qualifications
* 3+ years in a senior operational or leadership role
* Direct, hands‑on experience in primary care (GP, PCN, NHS)
* Proven ability to lead and influence multi‑site teams
* Deep knowledge of NHS structures and PCN operations
* Strong performance management and analytical skills
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable
* Existing network across GP practices or PCNs in the region
* Experience in service redesign or pathway improvement
* Background in healthcare ops or medicines optimisation
* Leadership or management qualification
* Experience as a registered healthcare professional

Remuneration
Base: £48,000 plus OTE £8,000–£10,000 (uncapped). Permanent contract – Full‑time. Location: West Midlands.
