Teaching Personnel are currently working with a specialist SEN Primary School based in Stoke who are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to start in October. This is a great opportunity for an individual with a strong background supporting SEN who is looking for a new role within a school.
About the role:
* Start-date after October half term
* Full-time, long-term role
As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with the SENCO and external agencies to create and implement learning support plans. This will involve 1-1 and small group intervention providing support for emotional regulation and learning. This role may also involve personal care for students who are physically disabled.
What we’re looking for:
* Experience working with young people with complex SEN
* Experience with personal care
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students and staff
* Good knowledge of SEN and current practices
* Safeguarding to be done upon registering with Teaching Personnel
