We focus on supporting those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD). This role is perfect for qualified SEN/SEND teachers eager to provide 1:1 tutoring in a creative, flexible, and trauma-informed manner. Together, we can raise engagement levels and significantly improve the educational journeys of our students.

Your Role as a SEN/SEND Tutor:
* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other educational needs
* Support students referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journeys
* Deliver flexible and holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute each tutoring session tailored to the individual needs of the student
* Provide holistic and engaging sessions that advance both educational and social-emotional development
* Complete lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on student progress
Requirements to Join Our Team:
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status/QTS/QTLS)
* A minimum of 2 years teaching experience
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other educational needs
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this at cost if needed)
* Two professional references
* Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments
It is essential that you promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people while adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
Employment Status:
* This position involves engaging with us as a Worker for short-term assignments as they arise
* You will work through a contract for service and be paid via PAYE
* No guaranteed work or expense coverage is provided
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us
* This is not a self-employed tutoring position
