We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Geotechnical Director/Associate Geotechnical Engineer to join a well:established consultancy in Bristol. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in geotechnics/geoenvironmental consulting/engineering geology, leading a team, reviewing and signing off on technical reports. This role demands strong technical and management capabilities along with excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders effectively.

This Geotechnical Director opportunity involves:
: Oversee and lead the geotechnical and environmental teams, providing technical guidance and leading project delivery
: Review and sign off on technical reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and regulations
: Engage with stakeholders including clients, regulatory bodies, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met
: Manage and administer projects including tendering, resource allocation, and financial oversight
: Provide expert advice and support on geotechnical and environmental issues, with a focus on quality and innovation
Candidate Requirements:
: Bachelors or Masters degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
: Professional certification or licensure in Geotechnical Engineering
: Extensive experience in geotechnical design, contaminated land assessments, and project management
: Strong understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices
