Counterbalance Forklift Driver - Days
Salary: £13.96 per hour
Hours: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, working on a 4 on/4 off rota
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Forklift Counterbalance Driver to join our busy food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in operating forklifts safely and efficiently, with a strong focus on maintaining high standards of health and safety. This is potentially a Temp-to-Perm (T2P) role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate forklifts to move raw materials and finished products around the warehouse/factory
* Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently
* Maintain accurate records of stock movements
* Adhere to all health & safety procedures and food hygiene standards
* Support team members to ensure smooth production flow
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a forklift driver, preferably in a manufacturing or food environment, with a minimum of 2 recent years using a forklift counterbalance licence
* Relevant forklift certification (counterbalance, reach truck, or similar)
* Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
