GBP35,000 : GBP40,000 (starting salary of GBP35,000 with a progression plan increasing to GBP40,000)

Our client is a well:established engineering firm specialising in innovative sheet metal solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of their customers. Theyre on the lookout for a Production Coordinator with a sheet metal background, who has previous hands on experience, and an understanding or Inventor or Radan. Its a great chance for someone who wants to be part of a close:knit team, within a growing company.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Support senior leadership by managing day:to:day operations, allowing focus on strategic growth
* Act as the central point of contact for team leads across Production, Design, Procurement, and Installation
* Ensure smooth coordination between departments and timely completion of work
* Help schedule installation jobs and allocate tasks to installation engineers
* Raise purchase orders and assist with basic procurement activities
* Foster a friendly and approachable presence, encouraging open communication across the team
* Ideally assist with basic design tasks or interpret 3D drawings to support customer discussions
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Strong background in sheet metal
* Previous experience as a Production Coordinator/Manager
* Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and/or Radan
* Familiarity with SAGE software
* Excellent organisational skills
* Hands:on, team:first attitude
