About the Role

to recruit a part-time
Fundraising Manager
. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to join a long-established, values-driven charity that protects the green spaces and heritage of Cambridge.
CPPF is at a pivotal moment in its journey. With inspiring new projects underway — including expanding habitats on the Gog Magog Hills, creating a new wetland at Coton Countryside Reserve, planting woodlands, and saving one of Cambridge's oldest buildings — the need for sustainable fundraising has never been greater.
As Fundraising Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the charity's future by leading on
mid-level and major donor fundraising, trusts and foundations, and legacies
, while exploring new ways to grow income.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver CPPF's fundraising strategy to achieve annual income targets.
* Build and steward relationships with
mid-level and major donors
.
* Research and secure income from
trusts and foundations
through compelling proposals.
* Develop and promote
legacy and in-memory giving
.
* Provide excellent donor stewardship, reporting, and supporter care.
* Work closely with the CEO, trustees, colleagues, and volunteers to maximise opportunities.
About You
We are looking for a motivated and experienced fundraiser with a strong track record of securing income from
major donors, trusts, and foundations
.
You will bring:
* Demonstrable success in major donor and/or grant fundraising.
* Excellent proposal writing and communication skills.
* Strong relationship-building and stewardship abilities.
* Knowledge of UK fundraising and data protection regulations.
* Confidence to work independently while contributing to a small, passionate team.
A genuine interest in
heritage, the environment, nature, or culture
would be highly desirable.
