As Fundraising Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the charity's future by leading on
mid-level and major donor fundraising, trusts and foundations, and legacies
, while exploring new ways to grow income.

Key Responsibilities

mid-level and major donors
.
* Research and secure income from
trusts and foundations
through compelling proposals.
* Develop and promote
legacy and in-memory giving
.
* Provide excellent donor stewardship, reporting, and supporter care.
* Work closely with the CEO, trustees, colleagues, and volunteers to maximise opportunities.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and experienced fundraiser with a strong track record of securing income from
major donors, trusts, and foundations
.

You will bring:

* Demonstrable success in major donor and/or grant fundraising.
* Excellent proposal writing and communication skills.
* Strong relationship-building and stewardship abilities.
* Knowledge of UK fundraising and data protection regulations.
* Confidence to work independently while contributing to a small, passionate team.

A genuine interest in
heritage, the environment, nature, or culture
would be highly desirable.

Working at CPPF

CPPF cares for some of Cambridge's most cherished places, including
Wandlebury Country Park, Grantchester Meadows, Coton Countryside Reserve, Bourn Windmill, Hinxton Watermill and the Cambridge Leper Chapel
. With a dedicated team of 17 staff and over 100 volunteers, CPPF has been protecting the past, celebrating the present, and shaping the future of Cambridge since 1928.

Benefits include:

* 33 days FTE annual leave (pro rata, including bank holidays)
* Pension contribution of up to 5%
* Flexible hybrid working
* A beautiful office setting within Wandlebury estate
