Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator (Night Shift) – Nottingham – Up to £28,500 + 20% Shift Allowance
Hours: Sunday 23:00-06:00, Monday-Thursday 22:00-06:00
We are seeking an organized and proactive Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator to join our night shift operations team. This hybrid role involves physical warehouse and packaging duties alongside essential supply chain coordination, ensuring goods are accurately prepared, documented, and dispatched to meet customer expectations and delivery deadlines.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate daily logistics and transport operations to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods.
2. Manage transport bookings, prepare delivery manifests, and complete relevant documentation.
3. Ensure compliance with internal policies and transport regulations.
4. Maintain accurate records and update ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, along with reporting tools.
5. Use shipping software like UPS WorldShip, FedEx, DHL, and Pitney Bowes for dispatch processing.
6. Process and prepare international shipment paperwork.
7. Read and follow work instructions accurately across all operations.
8. Package products according to customer specifications and quality standards.
9. Label, count, store, retrieve, and record all parts and assemblies.
10. Pack and unpack cartons as required.
11. Set up and operate packaging machinery and handle materials movement across departments.
12. Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs (approx. 23 kg) without mechanical assistance.
13. Operate a forklift on a limited basis if required.
Key Skills:
* Experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain coordination roles.
* Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
* Confidence in using shipping software and understanding of shipping documentation.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently on night shifts, prioritizing workload in a fast-paced environment.
* Problem-solving mindset with a team-oriented approach.
* Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs documentation is advantageous.
