Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Operating lane equipment and managing toll booths smoothly and professionally
* Classifying vehicles and processing toll payments per the schedule
* Recording and handling cash accurately preparing deposits and ensuring safe handovers
* Communicating clearly and courteously with drivers resolving enquiries on the spot or escalating where needed
* Following safety and operational procedures keeping yourself and others safe
* Liaising with the Bridge Control Room and following instructions promptly
* Reporting incidents or equipment faults when necessary
* Maintaining supplies and equipment in your booth
* Writing clear reports and interpreting information effectively
* Upholding high standards of appearance and professionalism at all times
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For:
Essential:
* The right to work in the UK
* A 5-year checkable employment history (including study unemployment or self-employment)
* Minimum of secondary school education
* Strong IT and communication skills
* A natural ability to deliver top-notch customer service with at least 2 years experience in a customer-facing role
* A commitment to our core values of Integrity Vigilance and Helpfulness
Desirable:
* Experience in a customer service or public-facing role
* Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate
* Previous work in the service sector
