Job Description:
To provide technical knowledge in support of the University's academic environment through research, implementation and configuration of all technology equipment in classrooms and to manage media technology projects to include preparing scope of work with customer, designing system, working with customer to bid/procure items, and facilitation of installation. Provides in-house control system programming, if required, to complete installation. Minimum Qualifications:
Exceptional knowledge of the technical installation of digital audio visual systems.Exceptional knowledge in the design, configuration, and support of media systems and technology equipment to include digitally, computer-based audio and video systems, with output from various sources.Working knowledge of interface of digital media equipment with computer technology.Demonstrated ability to understand customers' needs effectively and communicate options for problem resolution to customers.Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects.Working knowledge of desktop operating systems, networking concepts, and office applications.Some knowledge of basic programming.Working knowledge to troubleshoot complex audio, video, and control systems problems.Demonstrated ability to interact with vendors and University community.Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and set priorities.Demonstrated ability to independently apply technical judgment and skills to determine solutions.Effective communications skills.Excellent customer service skills.Additional Considerations:
