Teaching Assistant – College Provision (NN3 Area)

Salary: £24,123–£24,847 FTE
We are looking for caring, enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to join a supportive college provision in the NN3 area from September on a full-time, permanent basis.
This rewarding role involves supporting college-age students with a range of practical and functional learning activities, helping them develop independence, confidence and life skills in a safe and engaging environment.
The Role
You will work alongside teaching staff to support students during both classroom-based and practical sessions, including:
* Functional Skills
* Cooking and life skills
* Equine activities
* Floristry
* Outdoor and vocational learning
You will help students remain engaged, encourage participation and provide tailored support based on individual needs.
Requirements
* Experience working with young people or adults with additional needs is highly desirable
* A patient, positive and proactive attitude
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A full UK driving licence is ideal
* Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
