Town Planner – Associate Planner | Gatwick | Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) + comprehensive benefits package
My client is a well-established, multi-disciplinary consultancy with a strong presence across the South of England. Due to continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, they are seeking to appoint a Town Planner at Planner to Associate level to join their rapidly growing Gatwick team.
About the Role
You will join a fast-paced and supportive team working across a broad mix of projects such as Residential developments (single dwellings through to strategic schemes of up to several thousand!), Education projects, Commercial development, Strategic land and promotion work.
The successful candidate will lead small to medium-sized projects from inception through to completion, while also supporting on larger-scale strategic schemes across the wider portfolio. You will liaise directly with clients and local authorities, attend and contribute to client meetings, and manage key stakeholder engagement throughout the planning process.
The role will require coordination with external consultants and collaboration with the in-house multi-disciplinary team, ensuring effective and commercially focused project delivery across a diverse range of developments throughout the South of England.
This role offers genuine responsibility, strong client exposure and the opportunity to develop commercially as a planning consultant within a growing office environment.
Person Specification
* RTPI qualified (or eligible to submit)
* Several years town planning experience
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail
* Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
* Commercial awareness and interest in development
* Full UK driving licence
