We are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive Early Years team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young children at the very start of their learning journey.
Full-time hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm
Start Date: 1st September 2026 or ASAP
The Role
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support children’s learning through play, exploration and structured activities
* Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging EYFS provision
* Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups
* Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
* Support pupils with personal care where required
* Observe, record and contribute to assessments of children’s progress
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience working with young children in EYFS or early years settings
* Has a warm, patient and nurturing approach
* Demonstrates good communication and teamwork skills
* Is proactive, flexible and committed to children’s wellbeing
* Holds a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Early Years / Supporting Teaching and Learning) – desirable but not essential
