Are you a peoples person with a real passion for customer service? Were looking for an ambitious and confident individual to join our dynamic Sales Team at Head Office. Whats the job? Youll be known as a Hires Co-ordinator at Smiths Equipment Hire, and your role will be sales and customer service focused. Be sure though this is not a cold-calling sales role. Smiths Hire is the Northwest's Largest Independent Equipment Hire company with 19 Hire It Centres located across the region. We are looking for a passionate, well organised and driven individual who will be responsible for coordinating Equipment Hire requests across the company with a focus on providing a best in industry service to our Key Accounts. Working within the Central Hires Team, located in our Blackpool Head Office you will be dealing with customer hire requests, whilst liaising with Depots & wider team. You will be with our customers every step of the way from the moment they call to the moment their kit arrives on site. This role is all about helping our customers get what they need to get the job done, whilst building up strong, positive and long-lasting relationships. Previous experience in the Hire industry is not essential. All we ask is that you like making things happen can rise to the challenge! On an average day, youll be Assisting our customers with their regional hire requirements. Building and maintaining relationships with our portfolio of customers. Generating Hire contracts andarranging equipment to be delivered to site via depot network. Working as part of a vibrant team to make sure deadlines are met. The skills and qualities you need Customer focused mind set, with a keen eye for detail. The ability to exceed customer expectations by going Above & Beyond. Strong organisational skills and a desire to provide the best possible service. A strong telephone manner and email sales experience. The desire to have a career thats lasting and fulfilling. Working: Monday Friday 8am 5pm, with 1 in 5 Saturdays 8am-12pm.
