Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrate a passion for providing children with positive experiences.
2. Maintain a professional attitude and desire to deliver excellent childcare services.
3. Communicate effectively, promoting positive behaviour among children.
4. Be energetic and enthusiastic.
5. Have a can-do attitude with a strong focus on customer service.
6. Show flexibility to meet the business needs, including working from 7am-9am and 2:45pm-6pm during term time.
7. Assist with planning, preparing, and delivering quality play opportunities.
8. Consult with children and involve them in activities.
9. Set up play spaces, including moving furniture and equipment.
10. Support the safe collection and delivery of children between school and childcare.
11. Provide refreshments, promoting positive behaviour and involvement.
12. Ensure hygiene, health, safety standards are met.
13. Administer first aid when necessary.
14. Serve as a designated key worker, communicating with parents and teachers about children's needs and progress.
15. Support club administration when required.
16. Respond to safeguarding concerns and report them to your line manager.
17. Undertake training and adhere to company policies and procedures.


Desirable Qualifications:

* Level 2 or 3 childcare/play work relevant qualification.
* Paediatric First Aid certification.
* Safeguarding Children certification.
