Description This is an exciting role working within our Finance department within the EMEAI Consumer Brands Group at Sherwin-Williams. This position is responsible for the inventory optimization, cost control and margin optimisation working closely with Supply Chain and Commercial within EMEAI. This position is ideal for a qualified finance professional with FP&A managerial experience or/and Commercial business partner experience within a global matrix organisation setting, whom can drive continuous improvement, lead and support cross functional projects, and identify and implement opportunities to enhance overall end to end business profitability. Responsibilities Identify and/or support inventory optimization initiatives including SKU rationalization and SLOB management opportunities. Return On Investment analysis to maximize working capital and profitability. Conduct in depth analysis to understand primary causes for changes in standard costs. Analyze Purchase Price Variance (PPV) to develop understanding of variances and partner with other functions to identify and execute actions, as necessary. Analyze, validate, and prepare financial data and presentations to present to management and their teams. Partner with Product Marketing & Sales Teams to create and present new product business cases. Track performance via new product reporting. Opportunity to be involved in a number of cross-functional business projects. Maintain product attribute data and ensure consistency across all businesses and ERP’s. Create and maintain channel, brand, and product reporting. Support FP&A Team in budget and forecasting efforts. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/International Business CIMA / ACCA professional accounting qualification accreditation 3 to 5 years of experience working in Accounting/Finance. Strong analytic / problem solving skills. Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel functions (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX) and Pivot Tables. Strong written / oral communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently Ability to influence across a matrix organization Preferred: Prior Inventory or Cost Accounting experience.
