Role Information
Our Vocational Skills Coaches (VSCs) are vital in inspiring and coaching learners within their industry, sharing passion and lived experiences. They work closely with employers to support learners through both theoretical and practical work, including monthly progress reviews. We adopt a blended delivery approach, combining online and face-to-face support.
We seek a Vocational Skills Coach to deliver Health and Social Care Apprenticeships in the Thurrock/Chelmsford area. To succeed, you should have:

Key Duties
* Plan and deliver training programs with robust ILPs and regular reviews
* Maintain accurate learner records and reports
* Facilitate functional skills qualifications, providing meaningful feedback
* Offer exit advice and support career progression
* Adhere to apprenticeship standards and ensure consistency and fairness
* Meet KPIs and operate within the delivery framework
* Ensure high-quality learner experiences
* Build relationships with support teams and participate in quality assurance
* Drive self-generation and maintain relationships with learners and clients
* Plan CPD activities and update records accordingly
* Be a sector expert and contribute to strategic projects
* Uphold organizational values and promote equality and diversity
* Comply with safeguarding, Prevent, and health and safety policies
* Provide support, advice, and guidance to learners, customers, and colleagues
Key Performance Indicators
* Manage up to 42 learners
* Achieve retention and achievement targets
* Maintain less than 5% pass rate for planned end date learners
* Maintain regular contact with learners and employers
Delivery Tools and Skills
Comfort with using e-portfolios for planning, resource sharing, feedback, marking, OTJ recording, diary management, and audit trails.
