We are seeking a professional and organised, experienced Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. Duties
* Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere
* Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations
* Handle incoming calls, respond to enquiries, and direct calls appropriately
* Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the system
* Process payments and insurance documentation efficiently
* Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
* Ensure the reception area remains tidy and well-stocked with necessary supplies
* Support clinical staff with administrative support as required
Experience
* Previous office experience is essential, preferably within a healthcare setting
* Administrative experience is highly desirable to manage patient records and scheduling effectively
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficiency in using office software such as MS Office or equivalent programmes
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive information discreetly
