As our
FAS Laboratory Technician
, you will provide administrative and technical support to the FAS Laboratory, working within a team of multi skilled FAS Officers, who are responsible for processing and examining forensic exhibits.
You'll be working in a dynamic and fast paced environment, supporting the quality and accreditation of the laboratory.
This is part time role 25.9 hours per week
What You'll Be Doing
* Utilising and implementing a range of specialist equipment and techniques to aid the development of forensic evidence.
* Coordinating and managing equipment maintenance and calibration visits
* Managing and controlling stock and consumables
The must haves
* Knowledge and experience of health and safety within a laboratory environment
* Knowledge of ISO 17025 quality standards relating to Forensic Services
* Able to communicate effectively
