Care Assistant – Mobile
£500 bonus when you pass probation.
Location: Across Alsager & surrounding areas – a valid full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle is essential. Travel expenses covered, mileage paid at 43p per mile.
Hourly rate: £14.50 per hour, plus up to an additional £1.30 for working evening and weekend hours.
Hours: Up to 35 hours per week on a rota basis that will include mornings, evenings and alternate weekends between 7am and 10pm.
About the role: This is a dual role consisting of Personal Care and Domestic Services. You’ll work closely with the Field Care Supervisor, House Managers and Care Manager to deliver personal bespoke care and lifestyle services. Tasks include personal care, household chores, companionship, and support for wellbeing activities. Communal areas must also be kept clean and tidy.
Key Responsibilities
* Support individual homeowners with daily activities, personal hygiene, and medication assistance. Provide domestic support such as cleaning, shopping, and managing household tasks.
* Maintain communal areas within our developments to a high standard.
* Assist homeowners with social activities, transport arrangements, and attending appointments to enhance their overall well-being and social connections.
What We’re Looking For
* Ideally, previous experience in a care environment with a level 2 health and social care qualification – training will be provided if you’re a career changer.
* Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and time‑management abilities.
* Valid full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between developments.
* Flexibility to work on a rota that includes early mornings, late evenings, and alternate weekends.
