Partner with the best As the Aftermarket Engineering Manager, you will lead and coordinate the Brush aftermarket engineers and Drawing Office resources to ensure consistent delivery and satisfaction of contractual and customer requirements and provide technical support for all aftermarket initiatives. As an Aftermarket Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for: Working with key Aftermarket personnel to develop attractive solutions for all sales initiatives. Ensuring that Aftermarket Engineering, Drawing Office and associated functions are utilising the latest techniques and processes associated with a modern engineering facility. Shifting the focus within the BRUSH Aftermarket from functional to process driven and establish value streams into manufacturing. Introducing and driving forward lean principles and methodology into the BRUSH Aftermarket and assisting the Aftermarket management team in improving costs, cycle time, productivity and process implementation. Reviewing and implementing Brush reverse engineering capabilities and solutions. Implementing standard procedures to ensure utilisation and update of all historical and future drawing and specifications to be catalogued and stored appropriately. Monitoring, controlling, and developing engineering release systems into Manufacturing, Purchasing, Aftermarket or other relevant functions. Driving the review of all standard DO and engineering times - activity monitoring study to reduce times. Ensuring that all designs and applied technology are compliant with the relevant technical, safety and environmental standards and codes of practice. Leading RCA investigations as and when required by the business. Setting objectives and conducting performance reviews for key staff including development planning to assure long term capability within the team. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a significant track record of holding increasing responsibilities in engineering within a manufacturing environment. Have experience in delivering products for capital equipment projects. Have a successful track record of delivering accurate, comprehensive requirements to specific timescales and release schedules. Be able to travel up to 30% of the time. Be able to stimulate and encourage an environment for creative excellence. Promote continuous innovation and inspire other to achieve excellence. Possess great interpersonal and leadership skills with a proven track record. Able to fluently speak and write in English.
