Our client is seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the development and delivery of a strategic, organisation-wide architecture and digital transformation vision. The role requires a forward-thinking strategist capable of influencing business, technology, and data decisions at the executive level while driving measurable transformation across complex environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Define and communicate the enterprise architecture vision, strategy, and roadmaps across business, technology, and data domains, covering “as-is,” “to-be,” and transitional states.

Lead and influence cross-cutting capability development to enable rapid, scalable, and sustainable organisational change.
*
Assess organisational priorities for digital transformation and ensure alignment with long-term business objectives.
*
Provide a strategic perspective across portfolios, programmes, and architectural domains to guide enterprise-level decision-making.
*
Establish, enforce, and maintain architecture principles, standards, and policies across the organisation.
*
Promote collaboration, architectural consistency, and knowledge sharing across teams, business units, and stakeholder groups.
*
Understand and navigate the organisation’s ecosystem, reference architectures, and interdependencies to inform decision-making.
*
Advise senior stakeholders on scalable, value-driven, and sustainable technology and data investments.
*
Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technology, industry, and societal trends, evaluating their potential impact on the organisation.
*
Shape and participate in architectural governance, assurance processes, and risk management, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
*
Lead complex design decisions encompassing technology, processes, people, and organisational structures.
*
Guide problem definition and framing, challenging assumptions and shaping innovative solution options for high-risk or high-impact initiatives.
*
Facilitate and mediate difficult architectural discussions, resolving conflicts and securing stakeholder buy-in.
*
Coach and develop staff in architectural thinking, communication, and collaboration skills, building capability across the organisation.
*
Influence architectural direction beyond the immediate organisation, supporting enterprise-wide adoption of best practices.
*
Ensure that all business, technology, and data initiatives are aligned with enterprise architecture strategy.
*
Identify and evaluate suitable contractual frameworks and suppliers, ensuring alignment with architectural requirements and organisational objectives.
*
Contribute to the development and strengthening of the internal architecture community, promoting shared knowledge and continuous improvement.
*
Support policy development to increase organisational resilience and future readiness.
*
Maintain a commercially aware perspective, ensuring architectural decisions consider cost-effectiveness, scalability, and value for money.
Qualifications and Experience:

Essential: TOGAF Certification, ISEB Certification
*
Desirable: At least one of ITIL, IT4IT, or COBIT Certification
*
Proven experience leading enterprise architecture in complex organisations, including business, technology, and data domains.
*
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, able to influence at senior executive levels.
*
Demonstrated ability to shape and implement strategic change across multi-disciplinary teams.
