The Role
Each Income Manager will lead a team of income specialists, oversee arrears management, and ensure high standards of customer service and compliance. You’ll be responsible for driving performance, managing risk, and supporting continuous service improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and support a team of Customer Account Leads and Recovery Officers
Monitor arrears performance and implement improvement strategies
Produce and interpret performance reports to drive decision-making
Handle escalated and complex cases, ensuring legal and policy compliance
Collaborate closely with stakeholders, both internally and externally
Support recruitment, training, and development within the wider team
What We’re Looking For
Experience managing performance in a housing income or debt recovery setting
Strong knowledge of Housing Law, Welfare Reform, and arrears protocols
Clear, confident leadership with excellent communication and customer focus
Ability to work under pressure and make data-driven decisions
Proficiency in using IT systems to manage performance and reporting
