Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with a leading Healthcare supplier based in Castle Donington. We are currently recruiting for a number of experienced LLOP/PPT drivers to work in a new warehouse alongside their well-established team.
About the Role
We are looking for experienced LLOP/PPT drivers to work in a busy warehouse environment moving, storing, and picking stock. In this role, you will be required to operate a LLOP/PPT as well as perform manual duties around the warehouse.
Hours
10pm - 6am Monday - Friday
* Brand new facility and machinery
* Progression opportunities within the business as it continues to expand
* Modern working environment, free tea and coffee machine, vending machines, fridge, microwave.
Responsibilities
* Goods in - receiving and sorting goods, unloading containers
* Goods out - picking orders and arranging relevant paperwork
* Movement and storage of stock using the LLOP/PPT
* Safety checks prior to LLOP/PPT operation
* Accurate picking and put away using paper documents
Qualifications / Experience
* Must have A1/A2 licence/certificate. In-house certificates are also acceptable
* Must have experience as a LLOP/PPT driver
* You must be physically fit as the role will involve manual handling
* A good eye for detail as you will need to complete paperwork accurately
* Communicate well to managers and other members of your team
* Computer literate as some data input may be required
* The ability to work alone as well as part of a team
