Position Summary
We are seeking skilled Mechanics/Technicians to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on technical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment while maintaining high standards for safety and quality.
What You’ll Do
* Identify and handle basic component parts and follow established work procedures.
* Accurately and legibly complete all production documentation on time.
* Follow and adhere to all quality requirements.
* Perform other duties as assigned by management.
What We’re Looking For
Skills & Abilities
* Strong mechanical aptitude; effective use of tools in mechanical/technical settings.
* Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical functionality of equipment and subassemblies.
* Understanding of general plant practices, floor layout, and procedures.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
* Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
* Ability to learn quickly and apply new skills immediately.
Qualifications
* High School diploma or GED AND two years of related experience/training, OR equivalent combination of education and experience in a manufacturing, mechanical, or technical environment.
* Ability to read and interpret quality requirements, work instructions, production schedules, and measurements.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements
* Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
* Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs occasionally.
* Specific vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception, plus the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
* Indoor industrial setting with exposure to heat, humidity, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.
* Occasional exposure to loud noise levels.
Compensation & Benefits
* Pay: $19.00 - $22.00/hour (based on experience)
* Hours: 40 per week; day shift, Monday–Friday; overtime available
