Head of Sales – EMEA & APAC - Financial Services
Data, Analytics & Advisory
Hybrid: London / Surrey with travel
Compensation: £130k-150k base + performance incentive package
A global data, analytics and advisory business is hiring a Head of Sales to lead and scale its commercial function across EMEA and APAC. This global company is well-established and has a long heritage in data and business information, now backed by private equity growth. Its clients include asset finance providers, investment banks, insurers and OEMs.
The role combines leadership, strategy and hands-on selling. You’ll take ownership of a team of six with a remit to grow headcount next year. You’ll report directly to the CEO and work closely with product, data and advisory teams to drive growth across a large, global customer base: asset finance providers, investment banks, insurers and OEMs. This is an opportunity to lead sales in a business modernising a traditionally slow-moving industry.
What You’ll Do
* Lead and develop the EMEA & APAC sales team, with responsibility for hiring, coaching, forecasting and performance.
* Own the regional sales strategy and execution across both subscription and advisory services.
* Stay hands-on with strategic opportunities, running parts of the sales process where appropriate and supporting the team on complex deals (3–9 months, £50k–£500k).
* Build senior-level relationships across financial institution stakeholders.
* Establish a strong sales operating rhythm: pipeline management, deal reviews, accurate forecasting and process discipline.
* Partner with the CEO and wider leadership team on commercial strategy and GTM alignment.
* Represent the business at industry events and customer meetings across the regions.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven sales leadership experience, ideally managing teams across multiple regions.
* Background selling into financial institutions (asset finance, investment banking, insurers or similar).
* Strong process-driven sales approach with a track record of advancing and closing complex consultative deals.
* Ability to balance leadership with hands-on selling - someone who sets the pace, leads from the front and is comfortable owning key deals.
* High energy, ambitious and commercially sharp, with strong executive presence.
* Hybrid working with regular access to London and Surrey offices; willingness to travel for customers and events.
Why This Role
* Lead a high-performing team in a business that is scaling fast.
* Shape the commercial strategy for two of the company’s fast-growing regions.
* Work directly with the CEO and have real influence on product, roadmap and growth direction.
* Join a global, technology-enabled business modernising a legacy industry with huge market potential.
