SENIOR ADULT SOCIAL CARE LAWYER - INTERIM OPPORTUNITY

£60 - 65 per hour (Inside IR35)
Standard hours | Long‑term assignment (approx. 23 weeks)
A highly reputable local authority legal team based in the Greater Manchester area is seeking an experienced Senior UK Adult Social Care Lawyer with a minimum 3+ years PQE, to join on a long‑term interim basis.
This is a hybrid role offering standard working hours and a competitive hourly rate, supporting adult social care services during a sustained period of demand.
The role will involve:
* Advising on a broad range of adult social care matters
* Court of Protection and s.21A work
* Safeguarding, mental capacity and deprivation of liberty matters
* Providing clear, pragmatic advice to social work teams and internal stakeholders
* Managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision
About you:
* Strong experience in adult social care within a local authority setting
* Comfortable handling complex and high‑risk matters
* Able to hit the ground running in an interim environment
* Qualified solicitor, barrister or legal executive
* Local Government experience preferred
