Are you a Mechanical Fitter or similar with a background in Welding? Are you looking to join a one of the largest engineering groups across the globe, who offer massive investment in training or qualifications and the opportunity to progress into field-based engineering?
On offer is the opportunity to join a manufacturer that was founded over 25 years ago, who have built their reputation on their excellent training and development. They supply their turnkey compressed air solutions from SMEs to blue chip clients, with an expanding product range coming soon. They have recently joined one of the largest Air Compressor manufacturing groups in the world.
Responsibilities
* MIG Welding and Assembly of compressors, pipework, driers, and refrigeration units
* Service, Maintenance, and Installation training given
* Workshop based, progression to Field-based
* Overtime paid at 1.5x
* Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm, 40 hours a week
The Role
This role starts as a workshop-based Mechanical Fitter with responsibility for MIG welding alongside building and assembling the full range of equipment including Absorption / Desiccant Dryers, Nitrogen / Oxygen Generators and Air Compressors. Training on installation and service works is provided to develop into a Service Technician with occasional site visits.

* Background in MIG Welding
* Commutable to Burton-On-Trent
* Full UK Driving License
