Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm welcome. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual or multilingual candidates are highly desirable, as they will enhance our guest services.

Duties

* Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming attitude
* Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently
* Handle guest enquiries and provide information about hotel services and local attractions
* Must be able to provide customer service in the Brasserie restaurant in the absence of the Brasserie staff
* Maintain accurate records of bookings and reservations
* Answer phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
* Assist guests with special requests or concerns during their stay
* Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
* Process payments and manage cash transactions securely
* Uphold hotel policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

Experience

* Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred
* Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
* Proficiency in using hotel management software is an advantage
* Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued, enhancing communication with diverse guests
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
