Job Description We are currently recruiting for a Yard Shunter to join our transport team in Shirebrook. This is a key role responsible for the safe and efficient movement of vehicles within the transport yard, supporting warehouse operations and ensuring trailers are positioned correctly for loading. Key Responsibilities Safely manoeuvre vehicles between bays within the transport yard and across site delivery points Operate a range of vehicles, including shunt tugs and HGVs Position trailers and containers on loading bays for live and scheduled loading Work closely with Warehouse and Transport teams to ensure smooth operations Liaise with third-party and service provider drivers Ensure vehicles are available for inspection and maintenance as required Follow Health & Safety procedures at all times
