Procurement Specialist – UK Defence - Up to £55,000 plus bonus - Bristol (Hybrid)
An exciting opportunity to join a leading aerospace & defence organisation. This role is ideal for a commercially minded procurement professional who enjoys operating in complex, regulated environments and taking real ownership of supplier performance and contract delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading end-to-end procurement and contract placement for goods and services across defence sustainment programmes
Developing and executing sourcing strategies and supporting bid / campaign activity
Managing key supplier relationships across delivery, quality, technical and commercial performance
Working closely with engineering and programme teams to build and maintain an effective supply chain architecture
Identifying and managing risk, issues and opportunities across the supply base
About you:
3–5+ years' experience in procurement, commercial or supply chain within aerospace, defence or MRO
Strong experience drafting and negotiating contracts and managing major subcontracts
Comfortable working in complex, multi-stakeholder programme environments
Experience using SAP / Ariba and strong Microsoft Office skills
Able to influence and communicate effectively with engineering and programme teams
