Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will support various financial functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting and administrative tasks. This role is essential for maintaining the financial health of our organisation and will provide valuable experience in the finance sector.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
* Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
* Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner.
* Support the budgeting process by collecting data and preparing reports.
* Assist with payroll processing and employee expense claims.
* Provide administrative support to the directors when needed
* Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial matters.
Skills
* Strong numerical proficiency with a keen eye for detail.
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with experience in Xero accounting software being advantageous.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices is preferred.
