Principal Teacher Additional Support for Learning (7/40084)
Location: Penninghame Primary School Learning Centre
Salary: PT02 £57,429
We are seeking a committed, dedicated, and ambitious Principal Teacher for Additional Support for Learning to join our team at Penninghame Primary School, working 35 hours per week. Penninghame Primary School is a community-focused school dedicated to providing excellent education for our young people. Our team is hardworking and enthusiastic. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone seeking management experience.
You will deliver high-quality learning and teaching, and undertake related activities and developments in accordance with local, national, and school policies under the guidance of the Head Teacher.
A relocation package of up to £5000 may be available for successful candidates (permanent positions only). Please see attached guidance for further details.
Applicants must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS), Clerwood House, 96 Clermiston Road, Edinburgh, EH12 6UT, in the appropriate sector.
This position is classified as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check before a formal offer of employment is made by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
Applicants who have resided outside the UK within the last 5 years will be required, in addition to a Disclosure Scotland Check, to provide a police record check from the police authority in the country or countries of residence.
