As a Power BI Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping this growth. As a PowerBI Engineer for B&M, you will help us unlock the full potential of our data, focusing on administration, designing, developing, and implementing data PowerBI dashboards to help stakeholders interpret complex data and make informed decisions. You will work closely with data analysts, data engineers and business units to translate data into interactive and insightful visual formats that effectively communicate key insights and trends.
This role is full time office based in our office in Speke, Liverpool.
You will be responsible for:
* Design, develop, and optimise interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
* Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
* Integrate and prepare data from multiple sources, ensuring quality and accessibility.
* Collaborate with business teams to capture requirements and refine solutions.
* Implement intuitive, user-friendly features (filters, drill-downs, dynamic elements).
* Document processes, follow best practices, and support change management.
* Provide training, support, and continuous improvements based on user feedback and emerging trend
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Degree in Computer Science, Data/Statistics, Design, or equivalent experience.
* Proven expertise in Power BI (dashboards, DAX, Power Query, data modelling).
* Strong SQL and data transformation skills.
* Solid understanding of data visualisation principles and UX best practices.
* Experience working in cloud environments (Azure, AWS preferred).
* Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
