Role: Early Years Teaching Assistant

**About the role**
Connex Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a nursery based within a mainstream school. In this role, you will support children aged 0–5 in their early learning and development, working closely with nursery staff to deliver engaging activities that promote communication, social skills, and early literacy and numeracy. You will help create a safe, nurturing environment, assist with planning and adapting activities to meet individual needs—including those with additional requirements—and encourage positive behaviour and independence. Your support will be key in helping each child build a strong foundation for future learning.

**Role Requirements**
6. Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning or Equivalent Level 3 UK Educational qualification is required.
7. Previous experience working in Educational is essential.

9. An understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
10. Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Connex Education.
