Organisation:
· Participate in staff meetings, supervision and staff training where applicable.
* Adhere to Hays House Nursing Home policies and procedures.
* Any other duties that the post holder may reasonably be expected to perform.
Functional:
· To be aware of the resident's dietary needs and respond to their comments and requests in respect of the menu.
· To be involved with the preparation and serving of breakfast and teas and coffees.
· To hold a suitable food and hygiene certificate and attend any mandatory training as required.
· To dispose of waste correctly.
· To ensure that all food is used within the prescribed period, with particular attention paid to perishable goods.
· To contribute in the serving of food.
· To perform other such reasonable duties as may be required.
· To follow the cleaning schedule for the kitchen and washing up area and maintain correct documentation.
· To maintain accurate stock control and stock rotation.
· On occasion to assist in the preparation and cooking the menu meals to the required standard.
· To assist in the economic use of materials.
. To make simple meals and support with evening serving.
· Work as part of a team.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Permanent
Pay: £12.21 per hour
