Sales Administrator
We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join a leading manufacturing company based in Basingstoke as a Sales Administrator.
Introduction
Our client is looking for a proactive individual with some office skills, who is either keen to join the sales world with a great training plan or someone that has some sales administration experience already and wants to progress their skills. The Sales Administrator will be responsible for processing external customer orders/shipments and handling general enquiries.
Key Responsibilities
1. Placing sales orders into the system.
2. Supporting direct sales from order receipt to shipment, ensuring payments are received promptly and shipments are sent by the required date.
3. Handling inbound calls and directing them to the appropriate channels.
4. Dealing with purchase orders.
5. Liaising with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of products by the agreed dates.
6. Managing logistical processes for modification orders from entry to delivery by the acknowledged date.
7. Responding to customer enquiries.
8. Liaising with the warehouse team to ensure products are ready for shipment.
9. Visiting customers and exhibitions as required.
10. As the role develops, participating in proactive sales activities by following up on enquiries, quotes, and working on various sales projects.

Additional Details
Hours: Monday to Friday (Days)
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000
