We are looking for a Pantry Assistant who is dedicated to making every moment count, regardless of their qualifications or experience.
The Role
* Manage the "Cook Safe" system, ensuring adherence to food safety policies, including food probing, temperature monitoring, and hygiene measures.
* Preparing and serving breakfast, offering meal choices to residents, and cooking light meals.
* Liaise with cooks to accommodate residents' dietary needs, be aware of food allergies, and complete daily menus based on individual preferences.
* Clearing tables, washing dishes, preparing vegetables, setting up for meals, and maintaining a clean kitchen and dining area.
* Order and store food supplies, ensuring adequate stock while adhering to infection control and health and safety policies.
* Attendance at mandatory training is required.
* Previous kitchen or food service experience is preferred, along with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, physical stamina, and good communication abilities.
* A positive attitude and a passion for helping others are essential.
