The Regional & Product Policy team delivers advertising policy coverage across regions, product formats, and sensitive industry verticals. By combining regional expertise with regulated goods and product policy knowledge, the team ensures fast, consistent, and business-aligned policy decisions. As an EMEA Policy Manager, you will assess risk, contribute to policy development, and support policy decision-making in complex regulatory environments, with a focus on METAP markets. You will work closely with global policy and cross-functional partners, to deliver policy solutions that are enforceable, scaleable, aligned with product capabilities, and grounded in regulatory and platform integrity. This is an individual contributor role with meaningful ownership and collaboration across a wide range of cross-functional partners. Responsibilities - Review and analyse advertising policy documents, factoring in regional nuance and market-specific considerations, with a focus on METAP markets. - Evaluate regional business cases, product proposals, and new initiatives to identify potential risks and inform policy recommendations. - Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support aligned and well-informed policy decision-making. - Drive timely and coordinated responses to regional policy queries and escalations, in partnership with key stakeholders. - Monitor regulatory developments, industry trends, and enforcement signals, to support consistent and responsible policy application. - Support policy development and iteration by identifying gaps, emerging risks, and opportunities for clarification or improvement. - Contribute to knowledge sharing and alignment across regional and global teams, to help maintain consistent standards and understanding.
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Law, Political Science, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in advertising policy, public policy, compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related area. - Demonstrated ability to assess complex issues, exercise sound judgment, and contribute practical policy recommendations. - Experience working in global teams across time zones and cultural contexts. - Strong English written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain policy considerations clearly. - Experience working with, or adjacent to, advertising, media, or digital platforms. Preferred Qualifications - Master’s degree in Public Policy, Law, or a related field. - Experience working across regulated or sensitive industry topics. - Experience supporting policy implementation or operationalisation, including working with partners to translate policy intent into scalable, machine-executable policies and processes.
