We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and motivated Teacher to join the team at the Hamilton Square site. This role involves delivering high-quality, personalised education to young people who benefit from flexible learning pathways and tailored support.
As a Teacher at Progress Schools Hamilton Square, you will work in a small-class, nurturing environment, supporting pupils to re-engage with learning, build confidence, and progress towards positive futures.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English, Maths, or Science
* Support pupils academic, emotional, and personal development
* Differentiate teaching approaches to meet individual needs, including SEN learners
* Monitor progress and contribute to pupil assessments
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupil outcomes
* Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, equality, diversity, and British values
Who Were Looking For
* Degree-qualified in a relevant subject (or equivalent)
* QTS / QTLS qualified, or willing to work towards a teaching qualification
* Experience working in a school environment (secondary or alternative provision preferred)
* Creative, patient, and learner-focused approach to teaching
* Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
* Understanding of SEN, inclusion, and alternative provision
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
