Working Pattern: Mon to Fri 6.30am to 3.00pm (30 min lunch break unpaid)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hourly Rate: £13.89 - £14.95
We’re looking for someone with a genuine passion for food and a desire to grow within a supportive, development-focused environment. As a Sous Chef with ISS UK, you’ll work closely with an experienced team, assisting with food preparation in our kitchens and helping to deliver an exceptional service to our customers, while covering all aspects of the kitchen operation during the Head chef’s holidays.
The Role
* Prepare delicious, high-quality food
* Deliver outstanding catering services both in and outside the kitchen
* Meet deadlines and ensure prompt, efficient meal service
* Maintain excellent standards of hygiene and keep all areas clean and organised
* Uphold our health and safety standards, ensuring a safe and secure working environment
* Work collaboratively as part of the wider ISS team to help create an exceptional experience for colleagues and customers
About You
* NVQ Level 2 (or working towards it) or an equivalent cookery qualification
* A genuine passion for great-tasting food
* Strong understanding of food hygiene principles
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships
* A motivated individual with a desire to succeed
* Committed to delivering high-quality service with strong attention to detail
* Supportive, helpful, and a positive team player
* Demonstrates exceptional timekeeping and reliability
