We are seeking an experienced Site Director to lead operations at a major food manufacturing site for a fast-growing branded snacks business. This is a pivotal role focused on driving operational excellence, efficiency, and continuous improvement across production, engineering, and technical functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance standards are met.
* Lead and develop the site leadership team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
* Drive operational improvements to support ambitious growth targets and increased market share.
* Manage production planning, engineering, and technical teams to optimise output and reduce downtime.
* Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic projects, including NPD and capacity expansion.
Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in senior operational leadership within food manufacturing or FMCG.
* Strong understanding of production processes, engineering, and technical compliance.
* Track record of delivering operational improvements and driving efficiency.
* Excellent leadership and people management skills with a hands-on approach.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence at all levels.
* Based in West Yorkshire.
